Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Cidekmat, sorry I didn't respond to your ping last night. I was on and off-line all night from IBS...
:-(
Frick'n frack'n endo. This stuff is for the birds. Actually, birds wouldn't crap this much unless it was over my car. (heeee heeee) Ok, I typically do not have this much of a potty mouth, it's nice to have a place to vent.
I feel like he pulled the switcher-roo. A month ago when I had the tube test, the doc told me that my tube looked bad. She said it's open, but not healthy and she would not recommend conceiving naturally.
My fertility doc caught wind of our discussion, and called me AT OUR HOUSE to say not to worry, that natural was not out of the question.
Today - he said "yeah, I wouldn't try to conceive naturally without first having another lap to examine the tube in more detail." REALLY!?!? REALLY?!?!
So now he wants us to go straight to IVF, and then he slipped in at the end that if my tube really is unhealthy, then I'd need a lap anyways because our chances of conceiving through IVF get cut in half from a wonky tube.
BASTARD. He's just prolonged my pain. It's so hard to know what I want after hearing something like this. He's the best doc in the area, so I trust him. And I get it, he wanted to soften the blow with us both in his office, but it stinks.
I told him my other fertility doc was ok with it, and he said 'I trust the HCG more than anything else, this is bad news."
:-( frackers.
