Hello. I was wondering if any of you have used the Nuvaring as treatment for endo? I was put on the pill first, but it made me really sick. I'll be starting Nuvaring in the beginning of January and must admit that I'm apprehensive about it. I did some research online and saw that there were 1,000's of lawsuits against Nuvaring because of blood clots. I am fairly healthy and I non smoker, but still worried. I'm also worried about other side effects such as weight gain, mood swings and depression. Any experiences good or bad??
I'm new to this group and assumed 95% to have Endo as well im hoping to get completely confirmed once I get home from deployment. They currently have me on the nuvaring as treatment and I personally have had no issues with it. I should say i have been on a consistant cycle for the last 3 months but have been using the nuvaring for the last 3 and 1/2 years.. i have to admit since the switch to a consistant cycle i have put on a little weight , i have had very little issue with mood swings and my depression has gotten better. I hope this helps you a little bit!
