Hey everyone, thank you for all the prayers and thoughts. The surgery went good. We originally thought I had one mass but it turns out there were 3 baseball size masses and a cyst. We were also only suppose to tie off my right tube but it had to be removed bc of how damaged it was. No news if my left ovary works but the left tube did. She also removed what Endometriosis was in there.

Thank you again for all your thoughts and prayers. This support group has helped me so much, I have the best Endo sisters :)

So glad the surgery went well Ashley! Wow! You had more than expected! Well, we have to pray for that left side to work for you!

Heck, I'm even surprised you even manage to post an update! Wow, you've recovered quickly! You must be a real pro post-anesthesia! LOL!

Pep,

This is Ashley's Husband, she is a strong girl, but she has been in and out all day. I wrote this for her, she wanted to let you guys know how she was doing. So she told me what to write :) .... that's what husbands are for! Shes resting now, Im taking good care of her.

Dear Ashley's hubby, you are AWESOME. Tell her we are glad surgery went well. I know you will take good care of her. Tell her to rest and not to push herself. She had alot done today and it will take awhile for her body to heal. Ashley, listen to your body and take it one day at a time. Hugs to you both. :)

To Bryan,
As all of the girls said here you are so great to be there for her. Coming from a wife who also has a great husband it is really appreciated to have someone in your life who will never fully understand what you are going through, but is willing to go through it with you. Thank you for the update and I hope Ashley is feeling better :)

Bryan and Ashley,

What an awesome couple you are! Ash, I am very happy for you that you were able to get surgery and correct all that was going on in there but I am also sad for you as well 3 masses and a removed tube that has to be difficult for you. I send HUGS your way that you heal super quick and that in the next few months maybe you and Bryan can talk about trying for some babies (once you find out if your dr was able to clean up around your left tube and ovary)

I think it is very sweet and amazing how you came on here for her to post an update. A ton of women have this disease and not only do we struggle with the pain and the surgeries ETC. but some of struggle with our significant other, friends, family and work. SO with that being said I think it is great that Ash has someone like you on her side.

Hey Ladies,

Its Ashley again, :) Thank you for all your kind words. I am very grateful for my husband, he is amazing. He has been taking good care of me. He knows how much I love all my Endo sisters on this support group. I was in a bad place in my life when I got diagnosed, I was angry, confused and felt very alone. Im just so happy I have you all in my life, this support group has changed my way of thinking. So thank you to you all.

I find out Nov 4th what the masses were, my doctor sent them to pathology to get tested. I did have to have the right tube removed instead of just tied off. Which runs the chance of loosing my ovary. I know I still have my left however my ovary was mangled after my first surgery due to the endo I had in me for 10 years. So I am left with one good tube connected to a bad ovary. My husband and I dont have the money to do in- vitro. We feel that if God doesnt want us to be parents, then he must have something else he wants us to do. Like I said before I have an amazing husband, he is very understanding and caring. I was very lucky to find him.

thanks for the update. Hope you are resting. I totally understand how you felt after being diagnosed. there are a wonderful group of women who saved me also. You have a wonderful attitude and I'm sure God has a plan even if you cna't see it right now! :)
