Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Here's what I've been up to: I waited for my nausea flare to diminish. It took about a week. Then I put myself on a gluten-free diet. My research has taught me that it isn't beneficial to eat less gluten. It's either all or nothing. So, I have completely given up gluten and am giving it at least a month. I've been doing it a little over a week and have already lost weight and have more energy. I do still have pain and nausea, though.
Something to keep in mind. I'll keep you posted on how it works. ;)
interestingly enough I looked up "IBS ovulation" on google yesterday and a handful of web sites (message boards? I can't remember) said that the first thing to give up with this type of issue is dairy.
Dairy would be easier to give up...but I just need a medical opinion on this. The food allergy tests suck, but here goes.
Hope this helpsI think just find a food that is filling and no gluten while they are trying to figure out what you're allergic to, so you don't get more sick. Somehow, the right foods have helped me to feel a little better. It doesn't go away, obvi, but it helps.
DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
It's cool to read that I'm not alone on this issue because it seems to be I'm always hungry when I'm nauseous...
I have an appointment to see an allergist in a couple weeks, I'm going to do this properly...
