Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I don't know why I haven't been on here for a week! Just feeling bad for myself, I guess. But the minute I started reading, I felt like I was safe and understood!
I had my first lapo on the 15th of April. Basically went well, but they always make it sound like everything should be sooo much easier and better than it really is. I still have a lot of pain where the endo was but they keep saying it is gas. Also, I am having the stingy feeling a lot that someone else was speaking of in another post. The bruise-like feeling of being man-handled is finally starting to subside, but generally I feel scared, emotional, and icky. I also have a huge blood spot in my right eye, apparently this can happen when you cough hard after anasthesia?
Well, I guess this was an update/so glad I have all of you post. Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected! I missed you all!

Big hugs to you! I had my first lap today, they found endo and a mass in the fallopian tube. Are you feeling sad about the diagnosis? I understand, it totally sucks to have endo. But at least you arent crazy, and they know whats wrong now. You aren't alone either. Whatever emotions you are feeling, you are totally entitled to. I hope your pain subsides soon, if not go back to the doc to get checked out or some better meds. I hope you start feeling better soon. - Chelsea

welcome back. ANd yes, they always make it sound better than it feels. After my lap, (when he burned some endo out) I had major burning, stinging, soreness for awhile. It's still surgery and you will hurt for awhile. Take it easy and rest. Drink lots of water.

Glad to see that you are back and feeling a little better...no sugery is ever "easy" after so, just get some rest and just relax...take care

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
