Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I think you need to not be freaked out but you need to be prepared for the reality that you aren't likely to feel yourself in a week. And just be aware that it could take several weeks to feel normal again. I still get really tired if I over do it at work....and every once in awhile I have some pain in the incision they removed my ovary from. It's really not a big deal as far as surgeries go. I had the most done in this last surgery and it was my best recovery. Quite possibly because I was just really prepared.
You are going to have actual pain at your incision sites for a couple days....but it's doable pain on the pain meds.
