Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

Well, I'd just tell him that you have some worries about your endo and that it's good to talk about things. I'd tell him that you're worried about pregnancy potential and just make it clear to him that you need to know how he feels about the possibility for a family down the road and how he'd feel if you guys were to stay in the relationship/get married, how he would feel if something happened and you couldn't get pregnant. My husband and i did basically just that but I was 26 and he was 28, we knew we were going to get married. I told him when I had my lap which was 3 months prior to our wedding that the doctors told me that they didn't know if I'd be able to get pregnant or not adn that we'd just have to try and go from there. He said he wasn't marrying me for my baby making ability and that he would be fine if something happened and we couldn't have kids of our own. I'd see how he felt about if you couldn't get pregnant, if he'd be open to adoption, fertility treatments ( which are very risky IMO because clomid is used to actually grow endo implants in patients prior to excision surgery ). We tried for a year and a half about 3 years ago. I was in so much pain during each period and cried and cried, he had never seen me suffer in pain like this before. We did get pregnant, I didn't even know I was 7 weeks along, felt sick, started bleeding. I called the nurse adn she said take a pregnancy test just in case, it was positive but sadly, I was in the process of miscarrying. We tried for a good 8 months after that and nothing. I was sobbing in the bath tub and my husband said enough, this has to stop, you can't be in so much pain and I went back on the pill. We are happy in life and just chose to accept that a child isn't in the cards and we're fine with that. Sorry, I went off on a bit of a side track...
You guys are so young right now, I would just enjoy life for now, finish school and worry about a family in afew years. I do think it's good to talk about how endo makes you feel, and how scary it is with all the uncertainty it brings.
Hope this helps!
I am 23 and my partner is 27. We've been together almost 4.5 years.
We started dating when I was 19 and he was 23... and I think it was fantastic to be upfront with him. We've now made a plan, we didn't have babies straight away and we've got a lot against us. We still havn't but in the next few years we plan to start trying.
I think it's important to be honest. If he is scared off then he isn't mature enough to deal with the situation. Make sure you stress it's not right now but the what if's are playing on your mind and would be mind talking those fears out with you and maybe make a penciled plan for the future :)
Hope this helps!
