Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I am going to my THIRD doctor Monday. This week has been terrible as I told my doctor's nurse last week he was a clown and I was getting off the circus train and I guess they didn't feel the need to refill my pain meds so I've been without now for 3 days. Let me tell you it has been horrible! I haven't posted on here in awhile because I have almost felt like giving up and just accepting that my life is going to be full of chronic pain for the rest of my life I guess.
I have had a colonoscopy an upper GI, ct scan, sonogram, and a lapo. last summer. The original doctor who did the lapo last summer and found the endo refuses to do another lapo until after I go through all these tests. ARE YOU SERIOUS! I have been put through hell and just want another lapo and no doctor will touch me or agree to do another lapo until I have all these tests run. The last thing I was told is that I need to go to a neurosurgeon because it might be BACK PAIN! I suffer from no back pain all my pain is in the same area that it has been for the last 12 years! Yes I have wonderful insurance but now I feel that this is why our insurance in America is so high because these doctors just seem to take it for advantage and run me to ever doctor "buddy" they have. I'm sure these doctors I've been running to are all buddies and hang out on the golf course on the weekend! So if you want to tell your doctor he is an idiot and go off on them wait until after you have the refill of pain meds in your hand.
Sorry I had to vent a little.... I just want to actually "enjoy" a weekend at home with my family instead of putting the "face" on so my daughter doesn't think her mother is sick all the time!

Hang in there and I am sorry to hear you don't have your pain meds but I did chuckle when I read you stood up against the doc! :-)
