i have to go to one because i have high inflamation in my body and they dont no what it is..i had only a small amount of endo which was removed in nov...i have no more endo pain but have other problem and are feeling unwell....so maybe if you are not feeling the bets it maybe a good idea...goodluck to you.

I went to one too and I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I'm pretty sure the drugs I took for Endo triggered the Fibro. It can't hurt to see one. I need to find a new one because my last one got mad at me for not letting her know I had stopped taken a med I was on. The med was not prescribed by her but by my Family Practice Dr. I went off it because I was having easy bruising and was getting ready to have my third Lap....I didn't want to have bleeding issues during surgery. I had SO many issues from going off Cymbalta (that was the med)....I was losing my mind, my blood pressure was SO HIGH. And I was recovering from surgery. So the last thing on my mind was to call that Dr that I saw twice a year to tell her I went off the med. I told her when I went to see her next and she like flipped out on me. Said "what do you want from me? You come in here letting me think that this (pointing to a list on a paper) is the list of meds you are currently on. But turns out it's not. So I don't know what you want from me." It went on and on....I was in tears. I left after the appt and never went back (this was last summer)....I weaned myself off the neuronton she had me on. But I am now out of pain meds and nearly out of muscle relaxers so I need to find a new one.

I see one as well. Mine diagnoised me with fibromyalgia which is not uncommon to go hand and hand with endo. I have heard that some of the girls get relief from some of the drugs they perscribe even if they are only suffering from endo. Also @ Christine I hope you find a new rheumy soon the first one didn't sound like a great one but you may flare under the stress or if you run out of meds.
