Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Hi ladies,
I am not sure if it is my place to write this, but I am writing it out of concern, tears welling up in my eyes. I can't think of any better people then fellow friends who understand to share this with.

Rebel7 our fellow endo sister messaged me tonight at 10.30pm, as most of you know she had her 6th operation today for excision and to cut nerves in her uterus as a last ditch effort to help with her pain + way of life.
However she had severe complications with the main artery in her leg which was sevvred (however it's splet) during operation, she needed SIX blood tranfusions and she is now in intensive care. She told me she is "lucky to be alive" and has tubes down her throat ='(
Please ladies, pray for her!! I am so worried, she is a close friend of mine and I love her like a big sister. I am so horrified and worried. Please Please send your love and prayers, on her page on here, before you go to bed tonight. I promise to keep everyone updated.

The news I have now is Brooke is still in ICU, she lost 3 litres of blood (the body only has 5!) and after 9 blood transfusions she is as you'd imagine feeling like Cr*p! However is fighting strong! She is having some issues with her lungs, but is stable.
I plan to try and give her a call sometimes this afternoon if it is possible, she has told me I can call, but I will continue to keep in contact and keep you all updated.
Thankyou for the prayers, she appreicates them so much! She loves you all :)

Just wanted to update you all again.
I just got off the phone to Brooke. She wont be out of hospital she doesn't believe untill Thursday or after. What happened was a freak accident, the Endometriosis had moved the main atery that connected in the stomach area, and this is how it was sevvered. She is concidered by the doctors a 'walking miracle' they can't fathem how she survived.
While she is still very ill, I think it is somewhat safe to say she is stable. Of course any updates I will keep you all posted.

Brooke is now fighting an infection, her legs and arms are still numb and the vascular surgeon told her unless they get better he will have to operate to put in a splint in her artery.
keep those prayers coming, she's been told the road to recovery is going to be long =(
