Hey guys,
I'm new here, after having every possible test done for abdominal pain and ruling out any stomach problems, I went to the gynecologist for a routine check up and he told me that I probably have endometriosis, the more I thought about it, the more sense it made, so I have a lap scheduled a month from now.
I've been tracking my pain and I've found that I have terrible pain for a week around my period, a few good days, then a lot of pain for about a week in the middle of the month. I know ovulation pain is normal with endo, but I have been on birth control for four years so I don't ovulate. Is it normal to still have this pain even on birth control?

Did your doctor discuss having a laparoscopy? It may be a good idea to first get rid of what endo is already there, then start a new birth control to help control it.
