Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

Ugh...if its not one thing its another with this stupid disease. Just to some up for those who don't know, I finished my Lupron treatments about 3 months ago. 2 months after I finished my treatments my pain came back so I was put on a bc called ortho microna. For the first 2 weeks I did really well on it. no pain, great energy etc.
A little over a week ago now I started my period on it and its been bad. Not so much with pain, but the bleeding. Since I started I've been gushing blood and it hasn't stopped. Literally every hour on the hour I have to change my tamp or pad because it'll leak. I called the doc and she said that because my hormones are all messed up due to coming off the lupron and now doing the bc that this is normal and to keep with it.
I just feel like crap right now. I'm wondering if I'm loosing too much blood. I had to call out of work today. I barley made it thro my work day yesterday. I've been doing my best to keep up with my fluids, eating healthy, light exercise etc, but i'm still bleeding pretty heavily. I'm starting to freak out. I feel weak, tired, tummy troubles. etc.
Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do?

Sorry to hear your troubles.I had heavy bleeding trouble like this after switching my b/c pills. My doc had me take 2 pills a day for 3 days and it worked to stop the bleeding.. My pills have all been combo estrogen/ progestin though, so please check with your doc about this first. I think yours may be progestin -only .Also I was told first to take 600-800mg Ibuprofen every 6-8 hours, and that helped slow it down a little until she told me to take extra b/c pills. Be sure to check with doc first though, everyone's chemistry and prescriptions are different . My doc wants me to take Lupron, since I just had surgery for a very painful endometrioma , and he says I have a lot of endo all over but its not "deep"..I am scared of those drugs and dont think I need them. Can you tell more about your experience with it?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
