Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Go to some stores that you like and apply? Good luck.
I am very lucky. My finace has a mom who has been sick his entire life, so he is used to it. He gets upset sometimes when I just want to stay in bed or on the couch and do nothing, but I know he feels it's for my own good to get out and move around.
I would suggest taking your spouse with you to the doctor. Maybe hearing it from a medical professional will help him understand a bit more?
The medical community and people in general REFUSE to recognize the symptoms and pain of endo. My bro in law - who is not usually sympathetic - even said I am in incredible amounts of pain because he understands endo and is a gyn professor. I feel like if any of us had cancer, AIDS, MS or something equally devastating, the whole world around us would rally....but endo for some reason is ignored and put down as 'in our head'.
Where is the "Walk to End Endometriosis"? Where are the Endometriosis research centres? I found a ton of canadian websites to support people with damn CELIAC disease (meaning you just can't eat wheat) and yet in Ontario there is not ONE support group for endo.
I sympathize with you and someone needs to teach your husband what endo does and why you are not at some lame job who will yell at you all day for being sick....
Check out www.liveops.com you could do from home?I was thinking about it when I recover from surg, home for 4 weeks or more.
