Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I've been taking Loestrin 24 FE and have been very happy with it. I went to refill my prescription, and was told it is no longer available. Now it is "Minastrin" 24 FE and is a chewable (?!) tablet. Anyone take this? What has been your experience?
My doctor did say something about Loestrin 24 turning into "Minastrin 24" and the Loestrin should be a step lower labeled as a "generic" drug, but it still won't be covered by my insurance.
I, however, have not taken it, but I wouldn't know because it is not covered by my insurance...
