Awesome!..Along with Endo, I am also full of adhesions & was the 1st time they opened me..10 surgries later..no pain relief, no sleep and I crave 1 decent meal...I would be happy to be on a chat line about this stuff..does anyone else have adhesions along with endo..it's horrible, you'll know! Have you been told that endo is heridity? I was but no one else in my family suffers from this..just lucky me!

I was told it was hereditary and I'm the only one with it in my family also...whatever, right. I'm also on the website too=) Happy Chatting=)

Granny12 , I so can relate to what you are going through...I have dealt with this for many years...6 surgeries, a bladder surgery and after a complete hysterectomy it still continues to grow...I have adhesions that its growing on...Dr. has stopped with surgeries because he says everytime he opens me up to clean it out more grows on the scar tissue and adhesions...he tried burning it..what a big mistake that was...I live with constant pain and have been out on full disablity for 10 yrs with this..I have seen several specialists and nothing is helping..I did 3 different pain management classes...did shots for 6months...tried hrt's but my body rejected all of those..I am at a complete loss as to what to do...I am 42 and do very little because as soon as I do something the pelvic pain is outrageous...I refuse to be drugged up on pain meds...its very frusterating!!! Good Luck!!

Hey, I don't know if this is really the right room, but I've been struggling with my periods since I was about 15 (3 years), I get heavy periods, I get ill a week before, I get cold sores, headaches, sore throats, really painful periods, emotional (as in depressed) I have irritable bowel syndrome so my stomach is often bad, but on my periods I get pain where sometimes it feels like someone is cutting me open alive, other times, like someone is getting my lower abdomen and pulling them, I get spotting, discharge and bleeding from behind sometimes, it's painful urinating (but I have had two urine infections in the last year), the doctors suggested endometriosis, and did two ultrasounds which show nothing, although the second one I had the radiologist said my uterus was slightly to the left and left ovary behind it, they have tried me on various period related tablets but they don't work, and because I am still a virgin they won't do an internal scan even though I have given my permission, they have said they won't do anything till have tried taking the pill, but I don't agree with the pill for numerous reasons. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice, or suggestions on how I can (A) find out if it is endometriosis and (B) how to handle it, etc... Thanks. Kat. xxx

How can I tell if it's pregnancy or endometriosis?How do pregnancy symptoms with endometriosis differ from pregnancy symptoms without endometriosis? Also, I had a laparoscopy done last month on the 17th.. am I still going to have a lot of the same symptoms? Or are these symptoms all supposed to be gone? The reason I'm asking is be I'm cramping like crazy and it's 4 days until my period is supposed to start. That's supposedly a pregnancy symptom, but that is my normal... should I expect that as well as fatigue to still be my normal?
