A few months ago my brother committed suicide...since then i have lost all hope of feeling better and have quit doing some of the things that used to help ease my pain a little. just need some encouragement suicide runs deep

im very sorry to hear that. if your brother was here he wouldnt want you to suffer and not be yourself. he would want you to be happy and live life and love life.here are some articles i would like you to read and i hope they bring you comfort. if you ever need to talk and have any questions im here

Sorry for your loss.

I know it's difficult to imagine this at the moment but soon the pain that you feel as a result of the loss of your brother, as horrible as it is, will disapate.

Life goes on, thank God. Your love for your brother will never die. May he rest in peace.

As a fellow suicide survivor I can tell you that there are always going to be times when you feel like that and you just let it all go and don't take of yourself. Just let yourself have a "moment" and then get back to doing what you need to do to take care of yourself. Be patient with yourself, keep talking - whether in forums like this or a local support group. I hope that you are able to find some comfort soon and start taking better care of you.

i totally understand where you are coming from hun i lost my father to suicide and i lost alot of faith in myself and the world. but the faith comes back with time.

your brother would want you to be taking care of yourself and living your life to the fullest. and it may help to think he is now in a better place and is at peace,

so dont be to hard on yourslef it is only natural to feel as you do.
