Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Like as has already been said, Peppermint helps. If you have a way to get Peppermint oil, it helps to smell it and also to rub it over your stomach. Also, don't let your stomach get empty. That just compounds the problem.
Maybe try an ice pack on the back of your neck, or you could try a sea sickness band. Hope you find something that helps!
Looking forward to trying the tea (yummy)
May work for you for the nausea.
Right before my surgery I was in constant pain and I actually threw up about once a day. I would be at work, helping a customer, when I would get that feeling. It happened so much I learned how to act normally when I excused myself to go puke in the bathroom then come back.
A lot of times I notice that I can't eat a lot when I'm in pain. I usually keep peppermint essential oil around - it's really strong and just smelling it helps take away that feeling.
Another trick - I carry a travel size Listerine with me. Especially before my surgery. So when I did throw up, I could wash out my mouth and make it sanitized again, without a lot of fuss.
