I'm not sure if something is wrong with my internet or the site but I was unable to register. :/ I did read your endo bio and my favorite part was definitely: "throw those silly peanut packaging materials aside and behold my latest ray of hope." LOL I can totally relate! Great writing! :) I'll be checking back again soon to try and register.

Yea I just bought the domain name I didn't realize it would take the site down until its registered...lol I'm an amateur buuuut the site will get more exposure this way....I'm pretty excited. I know it seems like a long shot but I'm not going to ever quit trying to bring awareness to this disease. After all, a lot of todays issues were once not talked about (child abuse, incest, etc) NEVER HURTS TO TRY!

You're so right! Even breast cancer was taboo since you had to talk about boobs. Lol I commend the work you're doing and keep it up!
We recently started a local support group here in Southern California and even more recently they made me the main admin (one of two) for the Facebook page. Absolutely! As soon as its up again ill put in on the "resources" page! If anyone else has a fb and wants it on my page let me know! Do you have a twitter account for your support group as well? I think it's great that you have a support group-we need to band together and take a stand! Hehe I can picture it now! All the support groups across the country getting together is bound tp get attention! Great work!

Your story is so inspiring!! I myself could never have the guts to get a hysterectomy...but you sound like you made that yer b**ch!! I am so happy to hear that it worked out for you. I hope you don't mind, but I posted your site to my FB page-I figure since my friends have a million questions about it, why not give them something to read so they can see it from our point of view?? And if they don't read it, then they must not be the caring friends I thought they were! That is also so wonderful that your newfound love understood it AND knew about it!! You are super lucky to have a guy who is there every step of the way, as am I (although my hubby didn't have a CLUE what Endo was-neither did I!!)!

Haha-I say 'newfound love' when you said you two have been together for 3 years!! You talk about him like a new love though! =D

your story is definitely an inspiration. I appreciate you sharing. I actually have made the decision to have a hysterectomy within the next few months. I have 3 beautiful children, was fortunate enough to go through one pregnancy and now the pain is so severe I can't even enjoy them. My biggest fear right now is following through w/ the hyst and like many people have said, have it not work and still be in pain. I'm glad to hear your story and know its worked for you, its given me hope.
