What is lower back pain like that is associated with endo? It has never been a big symptom for me, but lately it has been bad. I'm not sure if it is endo related or not.

Sometimes it is an ache, but today I was having trouble walking because it felt like my whole lower back was out of alignment and it felt like my spine was pinching me or something. Does that sound like endo back pain? Or is endo back pain more of an ache?

I have terrible low back pain when I get my period. The pain that I have in my back during my period is a very terrible ache in the lower quadrant of my back. I usually end up sitting or laying with a heating pad wrapped around my back.
When I don't have my period, I get sharp, shooting pains down my legs, through my feet. Sometimes, my legs will just give out when it happens. It is awful. It's occasional and usually doesn't last too long. I think I may have Endo on or near my Sciatic nerve.
I have noticed my hip 'catching' a lot recently too. Whether this is related to Endo or not, I'm not sure.

Lower back pain is totally different for each of us. My lower back pain mimics a herniated disc. It starts at my tailbone (tender to the touch), and radiates out over my butt and sometimes when it is really bad it goes down the outside of my leg and into my calf.

What you are describing could be a misaligned hip. Mine kept getting misaligned from either the lap or a bad fall, that would cause the nerves to pinch a bit too. A good physical therapist who knows how to diagnose misaligned (and treat them) hips could really help. It is worth a shot if it is really bugging you...


I too had this feeling. I realized I could no longer wear high heels because it feels funny. Were you wearing super high heels by chance?

For me it started in my lower back and felt more like cramps (like period cramping) then over time the pain started spreading farther up my back and down my legs. Sometimes its a crampy pain, sometimes its a little sharp, sometimes its just a dull ache, or some combination of all three. Also I get tailbone pain, it feels like I fell really hard on my butt and it makes it hurts when I walk.

Mine gets very crampy. If I stand too long when it already feels crampy, it starts to almost feel like a burning. The burning goes to my hips sometimes. The other night it was so bad it made me cry like a baby. I had all of that, on top of feeling a stabbing twisting pain in my ovaries and feeling like my butt and leg muscles were being stirred around. It was horrible.
