Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

Hey hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone else with this condition has noticed that their immunity is compromised?
I find that I pick up bugs easily get hit hard and they hang around forever and they never go away without some form of complication.
Thanks, Katie

The best antidepressant is when my wishes are honored. An example, the faucet in my apartment was running although the knobs were turned shut all the way, and one of the pulling strings on my ceiling fan came off. As soon as I notified my maintenance man, he was quick to reply with the work order. RAPID response... he's getting my services around my apartment done. I appreciate my landlord and...

Hello,so I'm currently in a weird relationship with my long distance ex who I've never met in person and it's taking a toll on me. I've lost 15 pounds and lost my appetite, but I'm really attached to him. We've had a lot of problems and I think that has caused me to gain severe anxiety. I don't know if I should wait until it gets better or what. Everytime I've blocked him, it has tend to make me...

I have the same problem. I get sick very easily. If my husband is around me with a cold for a few minutes I will get it the next day and it usually takes me twice as long getting rid of it. I would speak to your doctor about the over the counter remedies for helping your immune system. I may have to do that this winter :( . They are trying to link Endometriosis as a Immune disease. Trust me though I know many Endo sisters that have this same problem. Its not all in your head. :)

Having a family history of different auto immune diseases doesn't help any either! lol
Does anyone know of a good OTC immunity builder?
i would suggest that you speak with a nutritionist, naturopath, or herbalist who can see your unique body and life and make recommendations for your unique state of health!
and of course, proper rest, good nutrition, and exercise bring any body into best health!
good luck.
I get sick all the time too. I have Celiac and Hyperthyroidism as well which are autoimmune diseases, so I think endo might very well be autoimmune related too. I get sick CONSTANTLY. I have a naturopath now and his suggestions have helped me a lot. I also started trying to drink smoothies everyday with emergen-C immune booster in them and that has helped me A LOT. My family swears by emergen-c, you should definitely look into it! It can also help to have a full panel to see what vitamins you are lacking, I'm personally low in Iron and Vitamins A, C, and D, so supplementing what you are lacking can help too. Hope this helps!
