Hi girls,
What a rollarcoaster few days.
Well, went in and had a laparascopy, cystoscopy and hysteroscopy as well as the insertion of the Mirena Coil.
Not to scare anyone but I woke up from the anaesthia (i've given up how to spell that word lol) in so much pain. i couldn't move and it took me a while to get the word "pain" out. they gave me some morphine. i definitely did not remember being in that much pain last time and the docs apparently in surgery gave me lots and lots of pain killers..
Anyway, i got back to my room and was still in loads of pain while i waited for the stuff to kick in. Unfortunately I couldn't pee for the first time, and got to the point where i thought i was going to die because my bladder was bursting. they gave me a catheter to just drain the bladder that time. because the Dr really wanted to try and get me to go on my own without being dependant on the catheter.
Thank God a couple hours after, I went on my own. I can only describe that as a miracle.
The doc came in and said he had tested my bladder etc. which didn't show IC. And he really stretched it out (ouch) so that it might help with the bladder stuff. he said the my uterus looked fine and i think he took just a scraping to test it. he also said he found new endo on my right back part of i think the cul de sac. he also mentioned he did some work in my cervix and i think clean up duty from my last surgery.
he didn't really say much because he was rushing to more serious cancer patient surgeries but i am seeing him tuesday to get the low down.
i stayed the night in hospital where i had so many pain killers i lost count. they gave me loads of morphine which my body didn't react too well the morning after. they actually kept me in till the evening because my body got so sick from the morphine.
here's something funny. the hospital had a fault in the fire alarm which went off for an hour, thankfully not exactly in my room but out in the hall. i was all drugged up so i didn't mind hehe.
anyway, i am home now and missing the hardcore drugs because i am in so much pain. i can't sit because it hurts soooo much and standing makes me feel like i'm going to pass out. so lying down a lot... peeing is absolute agony because of all the work that was done down there. i have a bladder infectection from the scope which im on antibiotics for so that's also adding to the discomfort. to be honest i can't really feel my bladder, like i can't push anything out, only can just feel the tube (urethera i thnk?)
gosh. i feel so bad but so glad it's over. thought i would let you all know how it went. but won't know for certain what was actually found till Tuesday. i just hope i can open up bowels soon. lol. lots of a metamusil fibre drinks and stool softener hehe.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

I also had severe endo and adhesions in the cul de sac area and have always had a few problems with peeing and pooing. Having surgery relieved a lot, so I hope it does for you too.
You are best to rest for at least a week, and have someone help lift you to get in and out of bed (they can put their arms under your armpits and lean back as you lean forward - them doing the work). Drink lots of water and hope you heal well!!!!

i'm still in so much pain and it freaking hurts to pee due to the cystoscopy.
I do have a very important question tho....
How do you know if your bleeding from your bladder, like your pee has blood in it or if its coming from your uterus.??? i personally think at the moment it's mostly in my pee because the pad i'm wearing doesn't show anything..

And I read the bleeding from a cystoscopy should stop after 2 days... not happening lol.
i was one of the lucky ones, morphine didn't make me nauseas, but after like 5 times of getting it, it caught up with me and made me feel like i was going to pass out and dropped my blood pressure.
i actually feel worse today then yesterday but it's all part of the healing process. i'm just curious to know what happened in me hehe.
And fyi, the mirena coil has been fine so far, i'm sure some of the discomfort is attributed to it. but really most of the pain i'm feeling is from the stitches inside and out. lol. So i'm pretty pleased with it so far.
again, sorry about this being all over the place. blame the drugs lol.
