Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
My second lap was the normal keyhole (not opened up thank gosh!!) and that was tons better. I think I got back to running 2 weeks after. I could have gone sooner, but I didn't want to push it. I just allowed myself time to recoup and walked because they say that is the best thing after surgery. I also lift weights, but I figured I'd wait a good month before I did that or did any ab workouts. So really in my experience, I was able to return to running a lot sooner than I ever thought I'd be able to. I hope that helps :)
Praying for a speedy recovery,
Ashley Nicole
