Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I just joined WW yesterday, it worked for me before, I am just not great with the maintenance aspect (hee hee). My goal is to lose 10 to 15 pounds and to slowly begin working out till I can work out 2 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes. I haven't done that in soooooo long because of the back pain. How about you?
Ive done my fitness pal as well as my husband. He loved it I wasn't so committed.
As far as exercise, not sure. Hard to exercise with all this pain. Maybe yoga to start? But when would I do that with 3 little boys?
I don't know, sounds too restrictive to me.
The endo association president told me about some tests which help pinpoint food triggers, I need to dig up her advice because I don't see the point on being that restrictive.
Day 3 of diet, today I feel less hungry!
i do want to remember that i need to eat healthy. i wouldn't mind slimming down a bit. remember lots of water!
Saw pain specialist today and he said I dint think you have endo I think its anxiety. Ugh! So I'm pretty much on my own now.
I am selling advocare products now. (NOT TRYING TO SELL just sharing information.) And they have products I think might help with some of my symptoms. Going to try that! I have tried Spark and it helped with my energy. I could get up and clean and go go go all day without having to take breaks. And its sugar free. So that compared to soda I'm used to probably helps. Will let you know what seems to work. A lot that they sell can be bought in other brands at grocery store or GNC. Again dint want you to think I'm trying to sell.

modulate estrogen
avoid caffeine and alcohol
avoid refined foods, e-numbers, additives
minimize or avoid soy products as they contain high levels of phytoestrogens, and soy contains a particular toxin which seems to be particularly detrimental for women with Endometriosis
