Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

I have my post-op later today, but I am so fed up with this gas! I think the fact that I already have IBS may be making the gas worse for me. I'm still only eating about one meal a day, and the scale says I've lost 10 pounds but I almost cried when I was trying to get dressed this morning because my stomach is still so bloated from the gas. Also just feeling really nauseous and gross. Has anyone else had this experience? Any ideas on how to get rid of it? Thanks!

Yes, it is common and unfortunately normal. My 1st doc said to walk as much as possible and that's what I did. My hubby wanted to put me to bed, but instead I walked around the kitchen and dining room. It helped a lot. Gas-x can help with the IBS gas, but I assume what you are talking about is the lap gas...?

Thanks endowife. I am talking about the lap gas, but I feel like it should be gone because it's been over a week now and on the internet everyone talks about how they were 100% fine like two days after their surgery, so maybe my IBS is also irritating it? I have been walking around and taking gas-x, but I don't know what to do to help it anymore. I just want to feel better already!

Putting a heating pad on your back helps too. And hot showers. Ive heard Gas-x helps with the lap gas too

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
