Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Can any of you guys remember what your first period was like?
I ask because the morning of my first period I was in so much pain, and felt so sick from it, I begged my Mum not to send me to school. She just said that it was something I had to get used to, and sent me on my way.
I remember as clear as if it were yesterday the journey to school on the bus being bumped around was horrendous, I wanted to curl up and die. My first lesson was maths, and I'd not been in there 10 minutes when I had to run out, and ended up throwing up.
I spent the rest of the day in the sick room, in agony, and being sick. No 12 year old should have to go through that!
I wasn't ever actually physically sick again with the pain, but I always felt sick.
I wondered what everyone else could remember of their first period, and if it was bad?

Mine was not bad that I can remember but around 14yr old they started wripping me apart.

yeah i remember mine, was coming home from school camp and had wicked cramps that i didn't understand. that was the only trouble i had for the first few years!

I was 13. I didn't want to tell anyone. There were on those huge heavy day matress pads in the bath room. I hoped the women in the house would think it was someone else using them. My mom noticed the huge lump in my pants. She smiled and talked to me a bit then went to the store for smaller ones. The next day was school, all day I thought people could tell. I didn't learn anything that day.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
