Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I've been feeling down lately too. I'm currently off work right now because of my endo pain and I'm waiting to have another lap. It's totally impacting my life. I'm at home and only able to do low impact workouts when my pain levels aren't to high. So my pain from this dictates what I am able to do and it really sucks! I can't do the high impact workouts or running like I used to so I don't feel very good.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced an increase in anxiety caused by their endo flare ups? Lately I'm finding that I'm getting anxiety about things and I think it's because I'm not working, working out, and am at home, a lot of the time by myself as my husband works full time. The weather is starting to get nicer out where I am so I'm trying to get outside and go for walks to get out of the house.
Thanks for listening!
