Feel worse when emotional?

I was just wondering if anyone's endo gets worse when they're emotional. I've noticed it a few times, but today I was taking a final and started getting reallyyyy stressed because I was running out of time, and I noticed that my stomach was hurting and swelling up. Then I cried for about an hour post-final and noticed my symptoms getting worse, it's been a few hours now but I'm still bloated and in pain and feeling like crap. Maybe it's not so much that being emotional causes endo pain but that the two are intertwined. Anyway I was just curious if anyone else has this problem?

Yes, it's not that quickly correlated for me, I have high stress and then my next cycle is much worse.

I've spent a good deal of time talking about this with my psychiatrist. Pain and anxiety often go hand in hand, and it becomes a vicious cycle where the pain leads to anxiety and the anxiety then signals your sympathetic nervous system and exacerbates the pain. Which in turn makes the anxiety and fear worse, and on and on and on.

It's real and it's physiologic and not at all in your head.

I definitely notice a correlation. It is a vicious cycle. I'm a full-time student, and when I get stressed I get a lot of anxiety, and the anxiety in turn makes my symptoms flare up, then I get even more anxiety and stress. Ugh. Brutal.
On a positive note, hope you did well on your final! :)

Stress definitely does make it worse for me. I spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with tech support the other day and I ended up getting smacked with an endo flareup!
