Hey there! Actually I've heard this before - My Mother had changes in her eyesight more often than not when she was super ill. Her eye doctor would say "Oh God... you're sick again, aren't you?" Don't feel dumb asking your eye doctor! Medications and Chronic Illness can most definitely affect your vision.

U are totally not crazy.... I recently started having vision problems in the last few months. ( in which i apologize for not being on here more for my sisters, but its really hard to go online right now with my visual issues.) Anyways, my syptoms are all in my left eye aside from the headaches....which affected my right side mainly...weird, but i wanted to let you kbow that ur not alone. It started out as a lil narrowing and shadowing then goinv away (i just figured i was tired) but from there it rapidly advanced to extreme double vision which was extremly vision that happened on my period...but i just shrugged it off and dialed back my meds...which i always do following my period anyways....but then the same thing happened with my second period....startinv before it anf continuing to worsen...i not obly had double, blurry vision suddenly able to text in 3D??? !!! the letters and words were extremely clear and i was stuck between fright and awe...because thats a trip. (and no i've never done acid...lol) However when i had continued headaches and increasing double vision...i started to take pictures of my eyes when they "wigged out". That got me freaked out!!! my left eye was stuck off to the left side while my right one was staring at the camera.
I showed the pic to my primary doc and he recommened a neuro asap.
my dilema...like urs tho is that this IS correlating with my pwriods...and im afraid to even mention it to the neuro im supossed to see on the 14th. They dont like that we chart and do our homework...drs....i mean in general...cause heaven forbid we should keep track of our own heath and undermine them in any way possible.
So i feel for you in struggling with vision problems too...i just wanted u to know that ur not alone and i did find somethong on hhe web recently correlating endo/auto-immune diseases and effecs on vision.

All issues in the body are related. Ladies with endo tend to have more allergies and inflamation both of which cause me to have eye issues. I was on temp disability for it one too. So maybe non the endo in the eye but endo body symptoms.

A few months ago I woke up with a bright red eye. The pressure around it felt like my eye was going to explode and I went straight to the doctor. I've had pink eye many times in my life and this was different. Much, much different.

The doctor immediately sent me to an emergency ophthalmologist who poked and prodded, numbed and dilated and diagnosed it as a phlyctenula. Which is a nodule created from an unknown auto immune response. It's related to tuberculosis but I was negative for that.

Basically they just told me that it's something autoimmune. This was previous to my diagnosis of endo but right around when the endo got to the point of unbearable.

With also having celiac, Hashimoto's. I just assumed that this was related. And I guess it was. I had to do two weeks of steroid drops in my eye.

i have consistently had blurred vision for the past 3 years but blamed it on a side effect of my Lyrica-- i went to eye doc, he kept telling me it was herpes of the eye- don't laugh, that's what he called it- not STD!!! and he kept giving me steroid drops... i haven't gone back although the eye still bothers me- i just don't think he is diagnosing it correct

Medications can dry you out and that includes your eyes.
Allergies cause eye problems.
We ladies with Endo can end up taking lots of medications, as well, many women with Endo also have worse allergies.

I use otc moistening drops my eye doctor suggested. I take a daily 24 hour allergy medication and add benadryl when mold is high. That seems to help with my blurry, irratation spells. My eyes sometimes feel like they're red and puffy, but thankfully they only feel like the size of softballs and don't look it. :P

Not related to Endo, but I also get eye trouble due to the alignment issues in my neck. When the upper vertebrae go out of alignment and muscles cramp (they make each other worse), blood vessels and nerves are pinched, and I get blurry vision really bad! Not to mention my migraines. My chiropractor is one of my favorite doctors!

I'm actually glad you asked! I have had several rounds of eye inflammation (the actual white part becoming red and inflammed) for several months. Eye doctor said it's more often related to an autoimmune disorder, but I've been checked for almost everyone and they all come back negative. Sorry I don't have an answer, but thanks for making me feel less crazy.

Sometimes I notice my eyes will throb. I'll be looking at something and notice the peripherals all around are pulsing, as if with my heartbeat. I haven't paid attention to the timing of it, and whether it coincides with certain parts of my cycle, but I definitely will in the future.

I have blurry vision too..worse when having a flare. Thought I was going nuts because it isn't always..stupid disease
