Hi hun, I had this after my first (plus blacking out, vomiting etc) turned out I had a low grade infection that lasted until the next op...
Have you booked in for a check-up at all??
I really hope it's just a reaction to the anaethesia, it is a pretty hard thing for your body to go through! But just in case, I would have yourself checked. It is no fun living with sickness for a year...
After op #2 I was fine, even hit the pub the next night with girlfriends! I guess you can have a different outcome for every op, but I would check it. Where do you live? We have an info line here to call and speak to registered nurses. They take you through a bunch of questions then advise you if you should wait and see, book in with doc or hospital etc Might be worth a try??

i get it all the time,but i can tell its from the local point and just the extreem'ness of it.
maybe yur hormones are changing a little after removal... as in adjusting.
but number one thing here is to make sure you dont have an infection and see your doc

you need to call or go to the doctor immediately!
you cannot tell by looking at incisions if there is an infection (I had one with my 1st lap and they said it is VERY dangerous to leave if you have one).

Go get yourself checked and at least take your temperature!

hey thanks guys, i'm going to keep an eye on my temp tonight and see how i am tomorrow. if i'm still the same i'll go in and let them take a look. i've just felt so so ill the past couple days. it's like my head is all full if that make sense, i have really bad headaches even tho i'm on generic painkillers all the time and go extremely hot and cold. Stupid lol. o well. My birthday is a week tomorrow so that's keeping me going :)

called the dr today because i am still getting the fevers with lots of sweating and just feeling really blahhhh. waiting to get a call back to see if he wants me to come in. this is annoying.. lol

i been having it for two years and iits not normal. i do know intefirence with the body can cause these things and it takes time to settle

I'm glad you called your doctor! Any fever after surgery is a reason to be concerned. It could very well just be a bug, but it could be an infection or something going on inside that you just can't see. I hope you feel better soon though! You're in my thoughts.
