Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

This is the first support group I have joined, and I must say today I am in need to hear something positive, to hear some sort of Success Story. Unfortunately, I think the years of down playing the pain, and writing everything off to be "normal," has finally taken its toll and caught up to me.
For the last 12 months of the year, I have lived the last 9 months with a chronic yeast infection and urinary tract infection. Additionally, about one week out of the month, I go through the routine knife stabbing pains in my lower abdominal area and rectum during/after intercourse. My boyfriend and I have always had a wonderful sex life, we have a strong connection and lasting bond. Intercourse is an intimate expression of your love you share with your partner, however, I am now terrified to have sex. I go from sad, to down right angry. No one should be stripped away from a natural healthy act, one that plays a roll in a healthy relationship.
I have a scheduled Laparoscopic surgery next Tuesday, and I am holding on to the idea that this will give me the relief I need. This will rid the chronic UTI's, chronic yeast infections, and unbearable pain during sex. Not to mention, I am completely terrified I will be infertile and maybe not able to ever have children. I am only 26 years old, and having children is something I want apart of my life. I am having difficulty not letting this take over my entire emotional existence. There is always a physical constant reminder that the endo is there and present. I find myself isolating from friends and family and even my boyfriend through all of this. If anyone who has been through this has advice, or a recommendation, or support, I would love to hear.

The best antidepressant is when my wishes are honored. An example, the faucet in my apartment was running although the knobs were turned shut all the way, and one of the pulling strings on my ceiling fan came off. As soon as I notified my maintenance man, he was quick to reply with the work order. RAPID response... he's getting my services around my apartment done. I appreciate my landlord and...

Hello,so I'm currently in a weird relationship with my long distance ex who I've never met in person and it's taking a toll on me. I've lost 15 pounds and lost my appetite, but I'm really attached to him. We've had a lot of problems and I think that has caused me to gain severe anxiety. I don't know if I should wait until it gets better or what. Everytime I've blocked him, it has tend to make me...
