Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I hope?!?! It is poison ivy.
As hot chocolate mentioned, endo often comes w/ other auto immune conditions. My sis has eczema (sp?) which is a crappy rash condition and is auto immune related. Over 65% of us also have allergies, and allergies can cause rashes.
Hope you figure this one out.
i ended up going to the hospital and they told me i was having an allergic reaction to something i ingested. which is odd because i can't think of anything i ate or drink to cause this. they gave me a steroid shot, told me to take 50mg of benadryl on top of it. i slept so hard. that shot is amazing. it was the only thing that calmed it down. now i woke up this morning and it went waaay down. i'm so grateful. i'm on a cocktail of pills to keep it down and go away permanently.
im so confused though as what it could have been, but i thought id let everyone know!
Feel better soon and keep us posted, I am now very curious.
