Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Right now I am fighting to keep from having a hysterectomy. My husband and I don't want children but I refuse to let them "take it out". Once I let them do that, they wash their hands of me.
Take care! Speak with your doctor about the possibility that endo may have come back.
i found this web site tonight, http://www.endo-resolved.com/symptoms.html
how long ago did you have your hysterectomy done? my friends had it done and they are happy so im thinking about it too but my endo is also in my abdonimal wall so i would only have relieve from bleeding and so ovaries and maybe little bit from the rest and i even have so shoulder too and im sure it is from endo
p.s yarrow made my endo worse and i will never touch it again regardless what they say
Were your ovaries removed? I assume so if you are on hormonal replacement.
In terms of sciatica, I had SEVERE sciatica down my left leg for 2 years straight due to endo and adhesions. Saw every doc on earth and all said "Hm, not sure why you have this?!"
It came back with a vengeance two periods later after my surgery. I had another girl on here who had it too who spoke to me and suggested acupuncture and physiotherapy for it. Acupuncture got rid of it almost, but it wasn't until each pregnancy that I saw relief. Unfortunately, it is back again even with this pregnancy.
You should look into acupuncture. Anti-inflammatories helped as well. That is all I can suggest. DO not bend at the waist, lift heavy objects or sit in hard chairs. Laying flat might help a lot.
I am sorry you had the experience of a hyst with no relief. They say hysts are the #1 surgery that is done when not needed in North America.
