Diagnoisis but cant get confirmation surgery

I was told a month ago they thought i had it, so i saw the surgeon today and the surgery with my compromised lungs and being over weight i may not wake up if they do it because they put your partly upside down to do it and it would be too much pressure on my lungs and i may not make it thru. We are going to do Depo shots has anyone had success with this? I have had 4 miscarriages and they think due to the endrometryosis and PCOS i have and they think ive had endrometryosis for 12 plus years by symptoms that long. Everyone kept telling me i had ghost pain until now.

Do not go on Depo Provera!!! It is proven to be ineffective in treating endometriosis! I have been on both depo provera and Lupron Depo. Lupron helped more than Depo provera (depo made my symptoms flare up worse and I gained 30 lbs in 3 months!)

I am on the depo provera already, had my first shot almost a month ago. Already have decrease in symptoms and its my ONLY option right now. I have talked to many who have had success with depo and very few that didn't. The Dr said it also depends on the person. I have done pill form of provera for years every 3 months to get periods. I have lost 50 lbs now since May and continue to lose on the depo so far. My pain in my uterus is much less and i have not had a period i was due when i got the shot. I am hoping and praying it keeps working because it is my only option right now

I hope so too, sounds like you had better success than I did! If not, look into lupron depo. That's the next step to exhaust all "medical options." I was on it for 6 months and had to stop and reverse it.. 2 months into my second injection I developed severe bone pain.. but the endometriosis pain was gone.. the doctors attributed the bone pain from my ovaries being shut down for so long.. endometriosis is sickening.. and the OBGYN's need to know more and study this more. I was dropped by 3 OBGYNs because my endometriosis is "too complex".

I will have to look into it, i can not have estrogen is that in the lupron depo? estrogen could be deadly to me with blood issues ive had in the past. Added estrogen that is not the stuff natural in my body

Lupron Depo depletes your estrogen, it puts you into medically induced menopause.. mimics a hysterectomy. It's only temporary. I could only be on it for 6 months due to my age, it has side effects.. it's a scary drug.. but to maximize all medical options. It worked for me, I was able to live my life normally, until the bone pain developed 5 months in. Hopefully depo provera works for you long term!!!
