Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I have ENDO real bad. I have had 3 different laps and been through the treatments 4 different times. my last lap was on June 4th. and since the Lap the DR. has discovered its worse and now in my Liver. but my problem now besides the pain and frequent urination is I am passing blood clots. DAILY. all day long they are as big as a dime and vary in color from Dark purple to black. they are extremly thick and just all around disturbing. have any of you ladies had this?
I immediately started a period. I mean immediately. The first day. With thick clots. The bleeding eventually stopped after 12 days, sort of. But the clots didn't. They just kept coming, and got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger, and bigger.
They got darker and darker and darker, and I got weaker and weaker. And on day 13 I called my doctor and she said, give the medicine a little more time to work. On day 23 she said the same thing. On day 37 she said the same thing. On day 42 I faxed her because by then of course I had had my normal periods in between which were every two and 1/2 weeks. And by then the clots were the size of golf balls and they were killing me.
I was soaking through all of my clothes. Sorry for the graphics really I am. Didn't know it would be this bad. And I am remembering all of this as well. I faxed her cause she wasn't paying attention to me. They put me back on the killer Lupron for another 6 months. Because she says I was hemorrhaging. And I refused a hysterectomy. If you read my journals it'll catch u up. They hadn't taken any of the endo out the first surgery, so they couldn't have my uterus.
I don't know what you're on now to cause the clots, but it is of course, not a good sign.
I have always clotted, since I was 12. ALWAYS. But that time was the worst.
You should go to the ER and complain of pain and clotting which if nothing else would give you an objective opinion of what's happening to you.
