bleeding with pain

ok i will try and make it short about a week ago my dr put me on the nuvaring due to to many cyst and causing severe pain! As soon as my DR put the thing in i was bleedong and have continued to bleed up until the thing came out on its own and fell in the toilet. I refused to reuse the thing because thats just gross and it my not my toilet. Due to my bad endo and the pain what should i do? We are trying to have a baby and i really didnt want to go on BC but they said it would help me im sure they lied. Im in more pain now then i ever was and the bleeding wont stop i have never bleed for over a week and its making me sick to my stomach! Has anyone had this happen once they stopped the nuvaring or BC??? Im freaking out but dont have the money to go to the DR this month!!! HELP HELP HELP

Hey girly! I didn't have the nuvaring but I did do the BC and I bled straight for 4 months. My poor crotch was raw from tampons. It did however work for my endo pain. For the first time I felt no pain after only the 8th day on the pill. it was like walking out of a crowded room and hearing the silence. You don't realize how used to the pain you get until it's not there anymore. Sadly, after 2 months I started getting pain again, but I think those were from adhesions. When I stopped the pill my pain got much worse as the endo came out of hiding. HOWEVER.... I know exactly when I ovulated within 2 weeks of stopping. So I wouldn't worry about ruining your chances of getting prego.

If you know your doc really well, call and tell him about your ring and that you want to try the BC. Maybe he'll call it in for you.
