Maybe the major nausea is from both the cyst and the pill. I know the other night I was puking all night from either a bad sandwich I ate or the pain from going to the bathroom. But, you said it's usually later in the day, so maybe it's the pill. I'd say go for another week, if not, I'd call the doctor. I couldn't handle one brand so I said screw this.

Thanks! I might need to stop it. I feel so yucky. I want to see if it is the pill or the cysts. My doctor might not be happy, though. I'm sure she'll want me to give it more of a try. I've read that sometimes nausea persists for the first few months of taking the bc pill. I can't do this for months. I am so nauseated I'm in bed and can't talk for fear of throwing up. I can't work like this, though. I am a teacher so sitting quietly isn't really an option. This stinks. :(

Since it's the same time everyday I would think its from the pill. That's a very common side effect of it but it should go away. You may want to try taking it at a different time of day like maybe before bed to see if that helps.

I got really bad nausea and sometimes vomiting with every pill I've tried! It's awful and I can totally relate. I toughed it out with one pill for a good 4 months as it seemed like the nausea was more mild...but it just kept getting worse and worse. When I woke up puking Christmas morning I said enough is enough and gave up.

I second angeleyes' idea though - figure out how long after you take the pill you're tending to get nauseated and try to time it differently...perhaps so the nausea would hit when you're usually asleep. It sounds pretty severe though and that won't work if it wakes you up. Hope you feel better soon!

Definately think it is the pill. I myslf can not tollerate too much estrogen. There are thousands of bc pills to try. So stop your suffering. Its not worth it. I have been stuck in bed for days on more than one occassion from trying different horomones. Headache, nausea, coming out of both ends....horomones can make you sick like the flu if they are not a good match for you.

Anytime I take a BC that has estrogen in it I get severly nauseated and begin to puke about 6 hours after I take it. and progestrin BC makes me insanely anxious and depressed. I am sorry, I hope you find something that works. I am going in for a Laprascopy in january because they cant find any BC that works for me

Thanks! Funny that you mention 6 hours, because it does seem to be 6 hours later when I feel really bad. I'm trying to take it with dinner tonight, and then hopefully I'll be sleeping when I feel yucky!

I take mine after dinner every evening. That way I have a full belly and sleep through the nausea. It helps. Sometimes I wake up nauseated and have yogurt right away. And all is well.

Yes it is very weird lol I took Lo lo estrin with food, and it STILL MADE ME PUKE! and its a super low dose. I was not happy. lol I wish you luck though let me know how it goes !!

Well, I tried taking it with dinner and the results were me being up all night feeling so yucky. I didn't actually throw up, but I still feel like I might at any second. I'm not dealing with this. I think I'd rather have endo pain! I don't need more reasons to feel crappy! Buh-bye, Generess!

I just had the same problem 2 weeks ago! My Dr. put me on the pill for endo and the first night I took it I starting feeling sick. I took it a total of 3 days and was the sickest I've ever been in my life! I had extreme nausea and dry heaving. I know it was the pill. As soon as I stopped taking it I felt so much better. My Dr. switched me to the Nuvaring and I'll be starting it my next cycle.
