Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
6 weeks following surgery I plan on going in for some massage therapy before starting an exercise program, as long as my doctor says its ok and following an ultrasound so that I don't inadvertently injure myself. I found a great Massage Therapist that in the past was (externally) able to break up some of my adhesions and it gave me quite a bit of relief for awhile. She was able to help realign my hips as well and showed me some great exercises to help stretch them out and loosen/relieve some of my sciatic pain.
Just wanted to share with you what I have found helpful and to give you my advice on the subject... If you haven't been active for awhile, i would get a check up and get an all clear from your gyno before starting any new exercise program. Would hate to see you end up spraining your sacral chakras. : )

As far as Massage, I too find that is the only thing that helps, not only with pain but I feel more energetic and more positive about things. I have done reflexology and full body. I also found a woman who does Ancient Mayan Abdominal Massage dealing specifically with PCOS and Endo. Unfortunately I don't have ins. and she is really pricey so that is on the back burner for the moment, but would love to go and see her and see what she has to say and see what the treatments are like.
Thanks for the advice...I'm glad about the massage, I was beginning to think it was only me that got any type of relief from it. :)
