Another bowel endo question

Okay, so this could be tmi. I was diagnosed with bowel endo when I had surgery. It was removed, but I'm pretty sure it is growing back. Those of you that have pain when you go, where is your pain? For awhile, I've had rather intense rectal pain when I go (sorry for the tmi, again!). Rarely, I'll have pain in my lower abdomen. Is the rectal pain still caused by endo? Or does bowel endo only cause pelvic pain?

I have pain when I go pretty much everywhere you described including my middle to right chest. Wierd. Im pretty sure theres not one or 2 symptoms with endo on the bowel, but as you know its very painful. It hurts a lot to go to the bathroom. I get spams up there TMI. Its horrible. I also get rectal pain when I go, but I also usually have pelvic pain also.
Do you feel pain there during your period?
When did you have the endo removed from the bowel? I hope its not back, but you do have symptoms. Again, everyones different, and has different pains etc. Be well.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo about a year ago and had pretty similar pains. I was told it had attached to my colon and when I described the pain to my doctor (very similar to what your pain sounds like) he said it's likely it is in my rectal area. No fun. For me, bowel movements are like torture. It's painful during the BM and often times for 20 minutes or more afterwards. You might try Tucks (or any other hemroid treatment). You can pick it up over the counter at a pharmacy. It helps the burning pain afterwards a little!
