i have been off lupron for 3 months now and honestly i felt better on it then off it within the first month off all of my symptoms came back. now after 3 months its getting bad again when they first came back it was more of an annoyance, there was pain but it was somewhat bearable. now im in tears all the time from the pain. i am on the continuous form of birthcontrol and im not sure if i should just put up with it or if i should try to seitch again or if i should go back in. my dr didnt want to see me until my yearly visit which is about 9 months from now. i know that stress can be a cause of pain and everything and i am under a lot of stress but i just dont know what to do

Go back to doc, tell him what worked for U and say that is what you want, or get pills that may help. for the stress, i know i get told to exercise or meditate, but i have no patience for meditation, and am going to get on the treadmill tonight.

me meditating is like having my dog make dinner lol jus wont work lol i think its super cool for the people who it helps but i just cant do it. the only thing that has helped is the lupron, and she hasnt really offered any other options. im no sure if there are anymore options. i have given up research all it does is scare and stress me out more. i play dodgeball on sundays and that helps maybe ill try to go for a walk or something everyday

I had to try to Shot as well, I didnt even last 5 months because they wanted me to go the full 6 months. The Side effects were horrible and I couldn't stay on it another month, so my Doc took me off of it and I got better. For me I was still having my Cycle and the pain was horrible still. If It works for you I def would tell the Doc and tell him you want to do something like a 6 month deal and then see what your options are! Hope it all works out for you.

i dont think my dr really understands what it is like to have this when she took me off lupron she said ok your fine now see you in a year...

Have you ever heard of Arvigo Therapy/ Maya Abdominal Massage? It has lessened my pain and even though I still have painful periods I feel like I am working towards a goal. It's non invasive and doesn't involve any drugs. Go to www.arvigotherapy.com and search for a provider in your area.
