Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
livingwhole, diet in traditional holistic medicine (like chinese or indian ayurvedic medicine) will address not only the disease but the constitution of the person and their unique symptoms. so what is suggested for texas279 might be different than what is best for you.
i can't recommend it warmly enough! TCM is the best of the complementary therapies usually in addressing female hormonal issues. it took my cycle from 14 to 24 days long the first month after 6 months of the pill couldn't make me go longer than 14 days. fabulous stuff.
hurray for you, texas279! so glad you are feeling better.
The doctor I see is also for infertility but basically kick the caffeine you hear it all the time and I can't tel what it is that makes the difference I'm sure its everything. I see her twice a week and she mixes up a batch of herbs specifically for my problems I watched her yesterday and there are about 20 different things she mixes together and I drink. I asked her what has helped the pain and she said it was a combination of the herbs and acupuncture. I haven't felt this good in a very long time. Me and my husband agreed since the pain had us in a rush to try and get pregnant with the hormones the doctors gives you that we can put it on hold and not deal with the stress of the hormones and infertility doctors.
The diet is based on your cycle beef/chicken/pork products stage 1 which is a few days stage 2 chicken/shrimp and the final stage before you start is basically just chicken... they put squid/livers on some of the stages but I don't eat that stuff. The sheet was for fertility though. I think its the acupuncutre and the herbs that are helping with the pain.
