Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I try not to judge because I know that endometriosis is not a one-size-fits-all disease. Though indeed surgery is the only method for definitive diagnosis, the success of treatments thereafter varies from one person to the next...NO guarantees for any of us=(
You've got to do whatever works for you!

I had a coworker who had also recommended I stopped taking my bc as well as it makes it worst. I think I'm too much of a scardy cat to get off of it now :o) though because it has gotten so bad. I will keep it in mind though, I have an appointment with my dr about it tomorrow!
(& I'm not going to say this to be negative. I have no problem with what you post....My problem lies in that you don't know that you had/have endo...so you saying that this worked for you and kept you from having unnecessary surgery bothers me. Having a surgery to diagnose endo isn't unnecessary...It's absolutely 100% necessary. )
I hope you continue to be problem free!
