Definitely bedtime, miss those hugs and I Love You's. It isn't quite the same over FB or text. Even just sitting around at night watching TV, just the mere presence of them in the room.

I miss her most if I'm doing something that we enjoyed doing together, like going out in our boat, or for a bicycle ride. I can just palpably feel her absence during those times. Church was tough yesterday too! My husband doesn't attend, so it's always been just my daughter and I. Sitting by myself in the pew was very emotional. As I was trying to fight back tears, a woman came to sit and talk to me. She said she has always seen my daughter and I laughing and talking and looking so close that when she saw me by myself she figured I could use a friend. That was so amazing of that woman. She'd been through it and understood.

Well I miss him most at those random times, like doing laundry and one of his socks is in the basket. Or looking for something in the fridge and there is his darn super hot sauce that he always puts on his food, and then there is the grocery store when you pass up his favorite foods and snacks...that you no longer need to buy. I just miss him and all his ways and our talks and our good laughs. :)

I'd have to say i miss them the most when I have to go in their room for something.instead of them looking up and saying hi,its just quiet and empty...I avoid doing this if i'm feeling really sad.also bedtime is super bad because I feel better knowing they are safe and sleeping in their beds.even the 21 year old.
Got horrible news today that my 21 year old is meeting with an enlisting officer and he is signing to join into the marines for when he graduates from college next year.I seriously have been crying all day and he wants me to 'support" him by going to this meeting tomorrow with the enlisting officer.i said i would go,but dont know how i'll get thru it.

I work at the school where one of my girls go to. It was very hard doing things there without her. First home football game...was very hard. Several friends sat with me and kept me company. That helps pass the sad feelings. I coach volleyball and she was on the team. It was difficult at first. However, it has gotten easier. Then this past Sunday, saw my other daughters friend.. I started crying. First, time to see him since she left. My tears comes and go at random times.

I have a heck of a time late afternoon (when they used to come home from school) and then the remainder of the evening. Dinner is quiet, upstairs bedroom/game room is dark and silent. And weekends, too, because I keep thinking he's just sleeping in until I realize he isn't even here. Ugh.

Oh, I have such a hard time at church also! I still find myself at the food store putting their foods in the cart when they are not around to eat them! I am really not liking this new phase of my life. My older son is 21 and has been at college for a few years now, but he decided to join the Army ROTC, so I know that in two years, he will be off on a new and scary journey. My younger son, just started college a few weeks ago. So, it is just me and my husband at home now. I am very very sad since I have always been a stay at home mom and very close to my boys.
