When my daughter moved out after almost 28 years of living with me and as much as we were so close and nice to each other through all those years, just like yours we had exchanges of hurtful, angry and nasty words too. I was in disbelief! Although I have a husband but I consider myself as so all alone too for his work takes him away 5 weeks at time and be back home for a week or two. I have no relatives too in this part of the world and my couple of few close friends are either in another state or live so far away from me. You seem to tend to believe for blaming yourself for sacrificing and providing for her. The one thing I wish to tell you is to refrain from turning the outcome to yourself. The same thing was my position in life until someone had made me to realize not to blame myself. As parents we've tried our best in the way we knew how with only the best intention in mind. We leave the outcome to God. As for your other challenges, I hope you could finish your education and be able to stand in your feet strong again. I'm aware that I may sound like it is easy for me to say those but please realize that I truly understand your feeling of abandonment and loneliness for I am very much in the same situation.

I've done the same fore my daughter.. now she doesn't talk to me or want anything to do with me

My youngest daughter moved out last October. I have not seen her since the day after Christmas. She was hateful and disrespectful. I am convinced she hates me. I have two other daughters that are fine. I know my daughter smokes a lot of pot. I can not begin to tell you how much my husband and I have done for our kids. We lost our son to cancer when he was 6 years old. My oldest daughter was 3 at the time. We ended up having 2 more daughters. I just didn't want my oldest daughter to be a only child. I am so close to my sister that I feel like with out her would be awful. Anyway, I texted my daughter the other day and asked her when she was going to stop by, she said I will when I feel like it not because you want me to and you need to be patient. ITs been 64 days. She is my youngest. I am so so sad. I can not believe that she treats me this way. I have been a very good mom. But she takes Adderall, some quack ordered her and she has never been adhd. she said oh I am selling it. 600 easy money. That didn't set well with my husband because she is on his insurance plan. She is 24. Has a gross boyfriend. A year or so ago she started talking about the universe and how ppl don't understand. she talks about crystals and how they are suppose to help you heal, etc. A lot of what she was saying sounded grandiose and I told her so which she didn't like to hear. I told her she needed a second opinion on the Adderall. She hates that I see through her façade She can not fool me and I think this is why she stays away. As much as it hurts not to see her or talk to her I am about ready to just let it go. Hopefully she will hit rock bottom and when this happens I can not guarantee I will be here for her. When she lived at home I couldn't even ask her a question, she would say stop asking questions its non of your business. Yup I am hurt, heart sick, it is like loosing a child all over again. The hard part was she moved out right before my sons death date and never called, my bday was 4 days earlier, no call. We always got together to have supper on the day my son died. Even though the 2 youngest girls didn't know him they knew how important it was for my husband and I to get together. I am sorry for rambling on I am just heart sick and don't know what to do. everyone keeps saying cut off all contact. How does a mom do this? Please help...Thanks
