at the moment i am exactly the same as you. blood stained sheets every day and relentless itching at night. i had a steroid injection at the beginning of september which was starting to work then two weeks later was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery and had blood transfusion so was back to square one. I have an appointment with my Dermatologist at the end of November and my dr. has put me on steroids to take until my appt. I also take antihistamines. good luck - i hope you can get sorted. i had to virtually break down at my doctors but it seemed to have the desired effect so don't suffer in silence! although i am still itchie at night and having disturbed sleep it does seem to be getting easier to bear.

I hope they can find some ways to suppress this. It's making my night really horrible...
Note none of what we did was topical (lotions). It was finding his individual root problems and then addressing them. Some of what we did was to increasing parasympathetic stimulation in the brain to help the GI, address gut(where majority of immune cells are found in your body) and food issues.
Realize the allergy tests most doctors script only go over a pin sized portion of the immune system. We got a MUCH more comprehensive test done of food issues for our family. An example is my daughter where doctor's test for allergens found nothing. We did the more comprehensive testing elsewhere and within a week of excluding foods like (for my daughter) raspberries and pineapples which she loves she got rid of the allergy medication and antihistamines we had been giving her for months.
If you go to www.AMSchneider.com you can read the book "Autoimmune Success" on how our family with different autoimmune disease helped to get rid of some of these diseases or reduce symptoms and slow progression ie MS.
Parts of the book that would be pertinent would be Ch 1, Portion of Ch 2 on Eczema, Ch3- brain & part of Ch 9 on eczema. You can review how looking a brain activity, the gut and test results avoiding your individual food issues all resolved my son's eczema and have kept it gone for years.
(Book includes diagrams to show you the difference between what doc's tests look at and what 2 other tests can tell you..it is a BIG difference. You need the right test for you to find out what is your issue and maybe for you it is carrots or kale. It might be healthy for some but not you)
I shared a bunch of information with another parent who said their daughter's eczema was so bad it bled and they had to bandage her. She made some of these changes and she said within 2 weeks they were no longer bandaging her and seeing dramatic difference. This was after YEARS of only getting worse.
I wish you good luck in finding your Individual root causes and addressing them to find better health,
MSwife
PS - I do not sell lotions or supplements nor do I make any money from the testing that helps. It took years to find the tests and different solutions in the book.
