I sometimes wonder why eczema might be in some areas and not others. I mean if it is due to some sort of contact issue like an irritant I can understand.

But in my case it is my face and scalp but it won't go down to my neck. I might understand if it was my scalp and where my beard grows, but it includes my forehead. It also seems to cross boundaries on my face between oily and dry areas.

So it makes me wonder. It also seems not to hit my face under my glasses which makes me wonder if it is environmental. Something that the glasses might protect me from or that the shadow of my chin might. Not that I get much Sun but my glasses do block a substantial percentage of UV. Perhaps it is related to an allergy to dust and some yeast and moulds?

But I guess there are just so many causes of eczema that I might never know. The Dr has prescribed an anti-fungal in conjunction with the hydrocortizone and it does seem to work.
