What causes this condition?

Well, the doctors told me that my daughter is prone to bacteria/viral infections due to her weakened skin condition, eczema. For instance, if she has a cut and gets any bacteria in it she will easily get Impetigo(sp?). And, if both she and I were exposed to a virus of any kind, she would most likely get it, even if I did not, due to her skin condition.... All I know is, most recently she got the virus and broke out on the side of her lower face and it looked horrible. I kept her out of school for a week. And even now, 2 weeks later she still has ugly redness on her creamy white skin. I am afraid it will scare and understand that is part of it but I would like to do what I can to prevent scarring, and breakouts alltogether.

Did she get some kind of something and had to do alot of antibiotics?

In the mean time, I would highly suggest using aloe vera and honey on skin! The aloe has great cell reginerative properties, plus both are anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti viral, and all the stuff you need! Honey will also help your babies p.h.. Cutting the sugars out of the diet,if there are any would help alot!

I also wanted to add that if you are using anti-bacterial soaps on her , in my opinion I would stop this! You can get that baby too clean! Honey can also be used as soap if you can afford it. If not at least cut over to IVORY. Skip the bubble baths too. You can also add a little vinegar to her bath. We found this helpful with our grand
children. I hope this helps!
