Eczema Support Group
Eczema is a form of inflammation of the upper layers of the skin. The main symptoms are skin rashes characterized by redness, skin edema, itching and dryness, with possible crusting, flaking, blistering, cracking, oozing or bleeding. Eczema can be extremely physically and socially uncomfortable. If you're an eczema sufferer, join the group and get support.
It is very helpful to know what your triggers are. What things cause you to flare (i.e. sweating, winter weather, etc)In addition to normal eczema triggers, I have a variety of things that can also cause flares.
you may want to consider:
-change in soaps or moisturizers
-change in diet
-if you are under a significantly higher level of stress
-not sleeping properly
-less than normal hydration (including if you are taking antihistimines that can stop allergies, but dry your skin and cause flares)
-are you menstruating or about to (hormone fluctuation)
-if you may have a minor infection
I hope these other ideas help. Sleep always helps to heal the skin.

P.S. Do not put Clobetasol on your face, because that type of skin can be more sensitive and damaged by the strength of that steroid. I have aclovate prescribed for my face.
