I don't want to sound silly, but I have no idea what to class my ED as. I know I have mostly bulimic tendencies. I never eat normal, I'm either binging, fasting, or purging. Purging has been more frequent recently as I've had more urges to binge. I usually binge in a morning then don't eat for the rest of the day, and the day after... then the cycle will start all over again. I only purge when I fail when I'm fasting.

Completely taking over my life to be honest.

Anyway, what would you class my ED as? Bulimia, or EDNOS?

What exactly is ENDNOS??? I have never heard of it.

Only a professional will be able to diagnose you, obviously.
it does sound like ednos though because you have episodes in multiple categories.

No one can diagnose you online. You would need to see a mental health professional to be diagnosed.

Since the DSM5 came out, eating disorder not otherwise specified is no longer a diagnosis.

Eating disorder not otherwise specified is still a diagnosis in the DSM 5. The category remains but has been renamed to otherwise specified feeding and eating disorders. Other diagnoses have been revised so that fewer people are diagnosed with otherwise specified feeding and eating disorders. I would be careful with using a blog post that is promoting a new book as your source of information. Also my professional experience has been that clinical practice has not yet caught up to the changes in the DSM 5. Professionals are still using the DSM 4 criteria to diagnose their patients.

It would be a good idea to go to a mental health professional, but it sounds like EDNOS with mostly bulimic tendencies
