But, the best and first thing to do is to deal with the depression. That is what is fueling your behavior, so start there. When your depression is addressed your bingeing might completely disappear, or, it will be lessened and you can deal with it then.
It's like walking up the stairs, you start at the bottom and move up, you can't jump from the first stair to the last stair - it just isn't possible.
Since this has been going on for a while it should definately be addressed sooner rather then later. The longer it goes on, the harder it is to get better. So, start today. Start this moment. Start by making an appointment with a therapist so you can start to work on your depression. Don't give up if your first therapist doesn't "click". Many many people have gone through more than one therapist, myself included. It's a very personal thing to go through - therapy, that is - so you have to find someone you trust and you feel understands you.
