ok so i was doing SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. i had not binged since late august. i had not starved in a couple weeks.i even had a good session with my therapist today. but the week before my period i started craving chocolate soooooooo bad. and not just any chocolate-white chocolate.
so i had to go to cvs to get my meds and some other stuff and i had to pass the candy. i bought a large white chocolate bar and told myself i'd split it with kayla or i'd eat a little bit every day.
it didn't happen. i ate it ALL before dinner. normally, this wouldn't phase my body, but i've gone so long without bingeing that i don't think my body is used to this anymore. that's good, but right now, i almost wish my body could handle more food. right now, i feel almost as sick as the time i ate half a cheesecake after a breakup. does this mean i'm getting better or worse?

Your ED is telling you its bad, but once in a while a treat like that isnt going to do any harm. And you didn't purge!!! GREAT FOR YOU!! it definitely shows progress. You might not feel great physically or mentally at the moment, but hopefully once the sick feeling fades you can be proud of the fact you kept urself from purging, which i know is very hard

umm....i don't purge, although i have thought about it before. but thanks for the encouragement. all i had was the one candy bar. come to think of it, i don't know if i got sick because of the size of the candy, or the milk that was in the candy.

That's great that you have been doing so well with not binging and starving!! Try not to see eating the chocolate as a bad thing. I really think it could be a good thing because if you had deprived yourself, you might have just ended up craving it more later, at least that's how it is for me a lot. And like Meeshaly pointed out - a treat every now won't do any harm. I'm sorry that it made you feel sick though. Hope you're feeling better soon.

You've not done anything wrong here sweetie - so many people eat chocolate, every day. They will frequently treat themselves and not think twice. You shouldn't be any different. It's great that you've been doing so well, don't let this set you back. Please don't see this as failing or going backwards.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
